Dresser-Rand's Wellsville Operation Announces New Competitive Labor Agreement

HOUSTON, Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dresser-Rand Group Inc. ("Dresser-Rand" or the "Company") (NYSE: DRC) today announced that it has entered into a new labor agreement with the members of Moore Lodge No. 1580, affiliated with District Lodge No. 65 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, representing 357 workers at Dresser-Rand Company's Wellsville, New York facility. The contract is effective August 16, 2012, through August 9, 2015.

Jerry Walker, Dresser-Rand's Vice President & General Manager, Americas & Asia Pacific, commended union leadership for working cooperatively with the company both on the shop floor and during negotiations.  Walker further commented, "We are proud of our employees and their dedication to their work and we are very pleased to have a new agreement with our Wellsville employees.  We look forward to the future success of the Wellsville operation and see this agreement as a positive step in maintaining fair and market competitive pay and benefits for our employees," said Walker.
