DST Health Solutions Brings on New Director for Care Management Division

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DST Health Solutions today announced the hire of industry veteran Diana Rappa-Kesser, RN, MSN, CCM, CCP, as Business Solutions Executive for its new Care Management Division.  Rappa-Kesser is tasked with setting the overall solutions strategy and direction for the recently launched Integrated Care Management suite that empowers health plans with flexible and comprehensive solutions to help reduce medical and administrative costs while improving clinical outcomes.  She will play a pivotal role in the newly formed Care Management division by providing product direction to the team for the CareConnect™ and CareAnalyzer® products.

Diana brings more than 25 years of clinical and managerial experience in both the hospital and health plan sectors to her new role at DST Health Solutions.  For the past 10 years, Rappa-Kesser was instrumental in building the Care Management division within a large Medicaid plan in the Northeast, which was recognized with national accreditation for its industry-leading strategic case and disease management. Rappa-Kesser's leadership within the Care Management division resulted in the organization's ability to move beyond episodic case management to complex case and population management, and to develop disease-specific care plans based on recognized clinical best practices that could be tailored for individual members.
