Duane Morris Attorney Rosa M. Ertze Honored with The M&A Advisor's 2016 Emerging Leader Award

Ertze of the firm's New York office has been named a recipient of a 2016 Emerging Leader Award by The M&A Advisor. The organization created the Emerging Leaders Awards to celebrate the achievements of young M&A, financing and turnaround professionals who have achieved a significant level of success and made a notable contribution to their industry and community before the age of 40. The winners—selected from a pool of prominent nominees by an independent panel of judges—will be recognized at a June 10 event at the New York Athletic Club.

Ertze, 35, practices in the area of corporate law and international business transactions, advising domestic, multinational and foreign companies on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructurings, general corporate matters, cross-border direct foreign investment, joint ventures, financings and securitizations. She works extensively with domestic and Latin-American companies doing inbound and outbound investments and business in Mexico and other Latin-American countries. Ertze has experience in transactions involving stock and asset sales in the United States and Mexico. She is also a member of the firm's Cuba Business Group.

Ertze is a 2007 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M., International Legal Studies) and a 2005 graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana (J.D. equivalent). She is fluent in Spanish and English.
