DETROIT, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Duffey Petrosky, one of the nation's fastest-growing marketing communications agencies, won five 2013 dmaDetroit Target Awards for work on behalf of their clients: Chrysler Group LLC, St. John Providence Health System and Greektown Casino-Hotel.

The dmaDetroit Target Awards recognizes the best work of Detroit's direct response marketing and advertising industry. Winners were honored at a special event held at the Gem Theatre.

Entries were submitted by business category and campaign budget and were judged using several criteria, such as overall objectives and marketing categories, copy and graphic design, production professionalism and response rates.

Duffey Petrosky won for all five of their entries, which included: 

  • Chrysler Group LLC: Dodge Dart Smart Challenge – A fun, educational and engaging campaign was developed for Chrysler employees to improve awareness about the 2013 Dodge Dart features and benefits and create advocates from within the Chrysler Group Workforce. Employees were engaged using numerous platforms, such as the Dart Smart Challenge Homepage (online portal), Text Messaging Challenge, Dart Advocacy Resource Kit, Dart AQ Challenge, Ride & Drive Event, and print support. Employees participated in weekly challenges to earn points; the top 10 employees were tracked and posted on a leaderboard each day. As a result, 32 percent of participants said they purchased or influenced the purchase of a Dart, and 99 percent said they talked to family and friends about the Dodge Dart.
  • St. John Providence Health System: Holiday Weight-Loss Mailer ­– This targeted, eye-catching direct mail campaign promoted St. John Providence Health System's surgical and medical free weight-loss programs. Messaging focused on managing holiday eating before the start of the holiday season. During the four months following the campaign, consumer activity increased and monthly attendance at free educational seminars grew more than 15 percent over the previous six-month period.
  • Greektown Casino-Hotel: Mother's Day Celebration Invitation – A Mother's Day celebration was held at Greektown Casino-Hotel to honor VIP CLUB Members for their loyalty. A special invitation package was sent to 600 VIP CLUB Members, targeting wives and mothers. The event sold out with 200 people attending and drove a five-percent increase in table/slot play over 2011 numbers.
