Dunkin' Donuts Restaurants In The Tri-State Area And The Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation Donate Nearly $40,000 To St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

TRUMBULL, Conn., Nov. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dunkin' Donuts franchisee organization Cain Management announced today that it raised $35,700 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at its restaurants through a St. Jude Halloween in store promotion. Throughout the month of October, Dunkin' Donuts customers contributed to the fight against childhood cancer by making a $1 donation at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants franchised by Cain Management. Proudly displayed on the walls of its restaurants, numerous pumpkin paper icons represented the generous donations of Dunkin' Donuts guests in the tri-state area and their commitment to support the vital efforts of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition, The Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation (DDBRCF), whose mission is to serve the basic needs of our communities through food for the hungry, safety and children's health, will also make a $4,000 grant to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, bringing the total donation to nearly $40,000.

A check will be presented to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the St. Jude Give thanks. Walk.™ in Trumbull, Conn. Dunkin' Donuts will co-sponsor the event for more than 150 volunteers and community members. The walk is part of a national event taking place in 90 communities nationwide on the same day to raise money for kids fighting cancer and other deadly diseases at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital so no patient family ever has to pay St. Jude for treatment or care.  For more information please visit: givethankswalk.org.
