DUNMORE Expands Gemini Series Team With New Business Development Manager

BRISTOL, Pa., Dec. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- DUNMORE Corporation has created a new position to take advantage of its Gemini Series' ability to create high-quality thin films at competitive prices for industries such as food packaging and durable labeling.

The company named Patrick Anglim, a 20-year veteran of industrial engineering and thin film production, as development manager for Gemini contract manufacturing. Anglim is responsible for helping outside manufacturers utilize Gemini Series production lines to apply multiple coatings and laminations.

Gemini is designed to make production of the most technically challenging thin films practical and cost effective. The company created the Gemini process to address its customers' growing needs for increasingly sophisticated thin films that incorporate more complicated coatings and laminations.

Gemini features production lines in Brewster, N.Y. and Freiburg, Germany that can apply multiple coatings and laminations on fewer passes than conventional production lines. Gemini processes combine the multi-headed coating and laminating production lines with DUNMORE's 40-plus years of experience in advanced thin film production.

Anglim's experience in thin-film manufacturing includes production management and quality control. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from The College of New Jersey. Anglim started his career with what is now LyondellBasell, where he managed the QC lab. At the time, the company was the world's largest polypropylene manufacturer producing over 5 billion pounds annually. He joined DUNMORE in 1996 as quality manager for its Pennsylvania and New York manufacturing facilities. He managed a 10-person testing and conformance staff that monitored quality performance. From there Anglim was promoted to director of production, assuming responsibility for the manufacturing facilities in the US.
