BOSTON, March 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The winners of CSN Stores' Big Bad Bedroom Breakup, a national search for the worst bedroom in the U.S., just received their brand new, designer-inspired bedroom, which gives them a fresh start as they plan their upcoming wedding.

Sherie Laframboise, 26, and her fiance, Wes Frazier, 25, from Clayton, MO, were ecstatic and emotional when they walked into their new $10,000 bedroom, created over several weeks by the CSN Room Rescue Crew and Michael Payne, former TV host of "Designing for the Sexes." The winners were selected from more than 6,200 entries asking to break up with bad bedrooms across the country.

"Meeting Sherie and Wes in person, after going through a year of evaluating entries and creating designs was really a thrill," said Payne. "They have a moving story and really needed a stunning retreat to call their own. I'm glad we were able to be part of this very happy chapter in their lives."

To enter the contest, people were asked to write a brief note explaining why they wanted to 'break up' with their bedroom, and why a new bedroom relationship would go a long way. Laframboise and Frazier were selected for many reasons, including her heartwarming and creative entry and her need for a new relationship with her bedroom.

"You are the first thing I see in the morning and I come to you time and time again each night, but I know we have grown apart," Laframboise wrote in her entry, referring to her old bedroom. "I've grown up and I now need a bedroom that is sophisticated, elegant, and most importantly, unique to fit my personality."

Laframboise also noted that she and her fiance, Wes, both lost their mothers recently to cancer and have had other challenging times, juggling several jobs, school commitments and other home renovations. But when CSN and Michael Payne let Laframboise know that she had won, she was overjoyed, saying it was a moment she would never forget.
