Eagle Tours Praised for Excellence at Prestigious White Rock Marathon

DALLAS, Dec. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Since 2003 the bus charter company of choice for the White Rock Marathon has been Eagle Tours and this year was no exception.  The marathon started in 1971 with little more than 82 runners and for this past weekend had a record 25,000 people registered for the event.  Eagle had 50 buses and vans to service the event which included 6,000 marathon participants, 13,000 half marathoners and 6,000 five-person relay participants (in addition to more than 3,200 volunteers).  "We transported around 2,500 participants," said Phillip Gottlieb, Vice-President Community Development at Eagle, "and everything went flawlessly.  We could not be more pleased!"
