EAT24 Debuts First Super Bowl Commercial
Snoop Dogg and Gilbert Gottfried featured in company's humorous ad
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EAT24, the country's top online ordering service, is going to the Super Bowl… in the form of a commercial. The ad, which will air during Super Bowl XLIX in select markets, stars Snoop Dogg and Gilbert Gottfried. This marks the first Super Bowl spot in the company's history.
"From day one we had a dream of our logo shining in the Super Bowl lights," says Nadav Sharon, CEO of the food delivery app who, along with co-founder Haim Erez, bootstrapped EAT24 from two people in an apartment to over 300 employees in a Silicon Valley office. Nadav continues, "All I can say is we have an amazing team, it's been an awesome year, and also, hi Mom!"
The online ordering service has released a few teasers, including a short video on the EAT24 blog featuring ominous music, a goldfish and a jar of pickles. The commercial will air during the first quarter, "but if NBC wants to break Super Bowl ratings records," says Nadav, "they should probably rerun it a few more times."
The commercial will also be available online for an early sneak peek starting Thursday, January 29th. Fans can also check out exclusive behind-the-scenes photos of Snoop Dogg (@SnoopDogg) and Gilbert Gottfried (@RealGilbert), on set together. The entertainment icon and comedian hit it off while filming the EAT24 commercial and may collaborate on future projects … stay tuned!
