Echo Point Names John Larson as Head of Sales and Marketing

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Echo Point Investment Management, LLC, announced today the appointment of John S. Larson as Executive Director in charge of marketing and client service. This newly created position represents a significant expansion of the firm's sales and marketing team, and marks a key advancement in the firm's strategic growth plans. Echo Point specializes in international equity asset management on behalf of institutional clients, and is a subsidiary of Old Mutual Asset Management (OMAM), the US-based global asset management business of Old Mutual plc.

In his new role, Mr. Larson will focus on expanding Echo Point's relationships with consultants and plan sponsors, while also directing the firm's marketing and client service efforts. Prior to joining Echo Point, he was responsible for the development of an institutional distribution plan at Cole Capital. Before Cole Capital, Mr. Larson had an extended tenure at Gardner Lewis Asset Management, where he oversaw client service, marketing and business development. In addition, he previously directed marketing and sales efforts at Cooke & Bieler, an independent investment advisory firm based in Philadelphia.
