ASHLAND CITY, Tenn., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- A. O. Smith spokesman Ed Begley, Jr., teamed with Play it Forward Nashville at V Lounge in Santa Monica, Calif., on July 29 to support a benefit concert aimed at helping families and businesses severely affected by the May flood in Tennessee.

"The floods damaged many people's lives and many businesses' livelihoods, including Ashland City, Tenn.-based A. O. Smith Water Products Company, which employs more than 1,200 people," said Ed Begley, Jr. "I was honored to be a part of Play it Forward Nashville's efforts, as a group united together can drive greater support."
Begley not only gave of his time, but also personally contributed to the fund.
Southern California's V Lounge hosted the benefit concert with performances from Stereofox, Jamie Meyer, Jules Larson, Sara Haze and many others. All donations received during the event were directed to selected families, as well as major organizations in Nashville including Hands on Nashville through Home & Community, Inc.
