Eco-Site Completes Drawdown Of Initial $80 Million Funding Commitment
Final $20M to carry company to next phase of growth
DURHAM, N.C., Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Eco-Site, Inc. (www.eco-site.com), a North Carolina-based wireless tower and densification solutions company, announces the full utilization of its original funding, drawing down the final $20 million of its initial private equity backing.
First announced in December 2012, the $80 million in equity financing from Atlanta-based MSouth Equity Partners has carried Eco-Site through a period of strong growth. The company now has hundreds of wireless infrastructure projects in development in 36 states and employs over 45 full-time associates at its headquarters in Durham.
"The Eco-Site story is a successful one, as we've worked diligently to grow the business and make our vision of unique wireless network solutions a reality," says Dale Carey, founder and CEO, Eco-Site. "This round of funding has enabled us to capitalize on market opportunities and lay a strong foundation for years to come."
"Just as we envisioned years ago, Eco-Site has taken advantage of the wireless industry's growth, specifically the increasing demand for wireless bandwidth and network densification solutions," says Barry Boniface, partner, MSouth Equity Partners. "We're pleased with the results of our investment in Eco-Site and look forward to building on their success thus far."
