Edmunds.com to Hire Six New Compact Car Shoppers; Fun Work Intended to Turn Consumers into Experts

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Edmunds.com, the premier resource for car shopping and automotive information, is now accepting applications for six jobs that any car shopper might dream of.

Through its Connect & Drive Experience,  Edmunds.com will temporarily hire six current compact car shoppers and turn them into experts. The company will bring the six shoppers to its headquarters in Santa Monica, Calif. where they will enjoy Edmunds.com's innovative corporate culture, drive and review five of the hottest new compact sedans available on the market, and be instructed on the best way to go through the car buying process. This unique, fun and informative experience will prepare them not only to make a great car purchase themselves, but also to help their friends and family.

  • Legal residency in the United States (excluding United States possessions and territories).
  • A valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Age 21 years or older
  • A clean driving record.
  • Availability to travel and stay in Santa Monica, Calif. September 24-27, 2013.
  • Plans to buy a new sedan within the next six months.

Edmunds.com will accept applications until September 13, 2013, and the Connect & Drive participants will be announced publicly on September 16, 2013.
