Edsby unveiled the product at the FullScale Symposium 2026, a leading gathering of U.S. K‑12 leaders advancing personalized, competency-based learning, taking place in Indianapolis October 8 to 10.

Traditional letter and percentage grades tell students and families little about what is actually being learned. Edsby Destinations addresses that by clearly articulating what students are learning, where they are headed and how to get there.

Unlike ad hoc competency-based education tools built for individual classrooms, Edsby Destinations is engineered to work across entire districts and regions. It syncs with a district's student information system so every teacher, student and parent is included from day one, and it aligns to local outcome frameworks to give each student a real-time view of their progress. Teachers co-create success criteria with students to make expectations concrete. Photos, video and work evidence tagged to outcomes replace letter grades with evidence that students, parents and teachers can see and discuss. Dashboards illuminate progress at the individual, class, district and regional levels.

Teachers and students capture evidence of learning as it happens using dedicated apps for iOS and Android, with scannable QR codes for students too young to type. The result is a living record of formative evidence, tagged to outcomes, that shows progress throughout the year rather than only at report card time.
