Educational Testing Service to Highlight Success in CICS Modernization at SHARE in San Antonio
ETS uses GT Software's Ivory® Service Architect™ mainframe modernization software to quickly create Web services and streamline business processes
ATLANTA, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In addition to being a SHARE event sponsor and hosting two technical sessions, GT Software will have a customer showcase its use of Ivory® Service Architect™ software at SHARE in San Antonio on March 1st.
Harry MacCord, Director of IT-ETS Brands and Application Management for Educational Testing Service, is featured as part of the CICS Modernization session. MacCord will speak as part of the case study session "Modernization – Real Life Scenarios – How Customers are Doing It" on March 1st at 3:15 p.m. in Room 302B, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. MacCord will showcase how ETS uses GT Software's Ivory® Service Architect™ to create real-time Web services to process online payments and test registrations faster and more efficiently.

Don Spoerke, GT Software's Director of Product Management, will lead a session "Don't Fear the Mainframe: Modernization Made Easy" and will share examples of how clients are building Web applications on top of mainframe systems without additional coding.
Also on March 2nd, Dusty Rivers, GT Software's Director of z Systems Software and a six-time "IBM Information Champion" for IMS, will present "IMS in the Connected World: Why You Should Pay Attention!" demonstrating how IMS remains just as relevant in today's mobile and data-driven world. Rivers' presentation starts at 3:15 p.m. in Room 302A of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
