Edward K. Chandler Appointed to Textura Corporation Board

Chandler to its Board of Directors.  An active investor in early stage software technology ventures, Chandler serves as the director of a number of notable technology companies.  He manages Longboat Partners and is the founder and Managing Director of Portage Ventures, which manages Portage Venture Funds, the Graystone Venture Fund and the Draper Fisher Jurvetson Portage Fund.

Chandler holds an MBA from Harvard University, where he graduated with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar in 1984.  He earned a BA in economics, magna cum laude, from Yale University in 1980.  Chandler has served as an officer and director of several non-profit organizations, including The Wetlands Initiative, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Lake Forest Country Day School and Lake Forest Open Lands Association.  He is a Trustee of the Otho Sprague Memorial Institute, a granting foundation which conceives and supports innovative nonprofit programs in medical research and care.
