DENVER, Jan. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The need for warm coats has never been greater, and EffectiveUI recently held a drive to collect coats and warm clothing in an effort to help ensure no one goes without a warm coat this winter.
EffectiveUI worked with One Warm Coat to collect gently used cold weather clothing that will be distributed directly to local children and adults in the Denver area. Employees and neighboring community members collected more than 400 articles of clothing during the drive, including coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, scarves and more.
"I am in awe – yet not surprised – at the success of this drive," said David Maren, VP of Brand Strategy and Innovation, EffectiveUI. "Our team has once again shown its compassion and generosity by providing warm clothing for people in our community this winter."
"So many of our neighbors need help these days. We are proud to work with and support each one of our coat drive organizers and donors. The time, resources and energy they give to help their neighbors proves that we can warm communities one coat at a time," commented Jennifer Stockard, President and Chief Executive Officer of One Warm Coat.
While the clothing drive is complete, people can still help provide a warmer winter by texting "WARM" to 80100 to donate $10 to One Warm Coat.
