Egon Zehnder Expands Presence In Washington D.C. With Office Opening

NEW YORK, March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Egon Zehnder, the world's leading privately-held executive search and talent management consulting firm, today announced that it has opened a Washington D.C. office located at 2099 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Manuel de Miranda will serve as the office leader.

Manuel de Miranda is an integral member of Egon Zehnder's Industrial Practice with a focus on aerospace and defense. For many years he led Egon Zehnder's Human Resources Practice. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, de Miranda was Head of Strategic Marketing for Washington D.C. based Lafarge North America, the largest diversified supplier of construction materials in the US. Previously, he held several roles with Shell International, working in Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia and Europe.

Under de Miranda's leadership, the development and growth of the Washington D.C. office will be actively supported by Alan Hilliker, Kim Henderson and Neil Hindle. Alan Hilliker focuses on board consulting and CEO recruitments across industry sectors and also founded Egon Zehnder's US Financial Services and Private Equity Practices. Kim Henderson is an experienced advisor to senior management teams and is active in Egon Zehnder's Services Practice and Technology and Communications Practice. Finally, Neil Hindle leads Egon Zehnder's Public and Social Sector segment in the US, a focus that is well-aligned with the local D.C. market. Hindle is accomplished in appointing and assessing senior leadership and works closely with intergovernmental development organizations, NGOs, industry associations and regulatory bodies.
