The DISA IL4 provisional authorization confirms that Eightfold AI adheres to the security protocols necessary for its deployment in defense-related projects. To achieve this status, a cloud service provider must meet rigorous DoD security requirements in addition to securing the FedRAMP Moderate baseline authorization (see Eightfold press release). DISA evaluates cloud offerings against the SRG's IL4 criteria and grants a provisional authorization when those security controls are verified.
