Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Expands Commitment to Providing Healthier Menu Choices

LAKEWOOD, Colo., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As part of its ongoing commitment to provide its customers with healthier meal choices, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. (ENRG), the nation's leading fast casual bagel restaurant company, announced bagel thin sandwiches, a new line of lower calorie, lower fat sandwiches available now at participating Einstein Bros. Bagels® and Noah's New York Bagels® locations.  

In addition, the company announced that it will become the first quick service restaurant chain to partner with the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation, a CEO-led coalition of more than 90 of the nation's largest retailers, non-profit organizations, food and beverage manufacturers and trade associations aimed at helping to reduce obesity.  The company made its commitment on the heels of the release of the action plan by the White House Childhood Obesity Task Force.
