Elabscience® Launches EasySort™ Mouse CD4 Nanobeads, Its First Magnetic Bead Product for Positive Cell Selection

HOUSTON, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Elabscience® Bionovation Inc. ("Elabscience®" or "the Company") launched EasySort™ Mouse CD4 Nanobeads on September 22, 2026, the Company's first magnetic bead product for positive cell selection, designed to enrich mouse CD4+ cells for basic research. The product combines dextran-coated superparamagnetic beads measuring less than 40nm with high-affinity antibodies developed by Elabscience®. Internal validation showed cell purity of 95.2% ± 3%, cell yield of 66% ± 18%, and cell viability of at least 95%. Following separation, the cells can be used directly in downstream culture and functional experiments.

Positive cell selection relies on antibodies and magnetic beads binding directly to surface antigens on target cells to enable enrichment. A key technical challenge is achieving high purity while minimizing the potential impact of this direct binding on cell activation state, phenotype, and subsequent experiments. EasySort™ Mouse CD4 Nanobeads are designed to address this challenge while enabling efficient positive enrichment of CD4+ cells from mouse samples.

With a particle size below 40 nm, the dextran-coated superparamagnetic beads are designed to support gentler cell labeling and reduce potential effects on cell state after separation. The antibodies conjugated to the beads are high-affinity antibody clones developed and rigorously validated by Elabscience®, with the goal of minimizing cell activation and phenotypic changes and preserving the native state of target cells.

EasySort™ Mouse CD4 Nanobeads underwent repeated multi-batch testing and comparative evaluation against a commercially available research-grade magnetic bead product. Testing focused on key performance indicators including separation purity, cell viability, and cell yield, and showed performance comparable to the benchmark product.

The launch builds on a development program that began in 2023, when Elabscience® established its positive cell selection technology platform. The research and development team optimized nanobead preparation, antibody conjugation, magnetic labeling, formulation, and production processes before completing platform validation in July 2025. The Company subsequently moved into product development, performance validation, and repeatability testing.

EasySort™ Mouse CD4 Nanobeads, catalog number MIM011P, is now available in 10- and 200-assay formats. The product is designed for samples including mouse lymphoid tissues and internal organs such as lungs. EasySort™ Mouse CD4 Nanobeads is the first in a planned series of positive cell selection magnetic bead products from Elabscience®, with additional products expected to be introduced progressively as the Company expands its cell separation portfolio.
