Elcometer and SSPC Announce 'Paperless QA' Training Course

- Quality Assurance course improves efficiency and data collection.

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 20, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Elcometer Instruments and SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings are pleased to announce the availability of "Protective Coatings Paperless QA and Digital Data Collection," a new training course that focuses on instrument use and inspection reporting.

The course, developed by Elcometer and administered by SSPC, focuses on coupling digital instrumentation with paperless inspection reporting. This course emphasizes the benefits of incorporating industry standards while maximizing the instruments' capabilities and potential to perform the most common daily inspection tasks (monitoring ambient conditions, surface profiles, and film thickness). It also focuses on the importance of proper inspection reporting and the successful integration of a paperless quality assurance inspection program to significantly reduce the man-hours incurred in the inspection process and the introduction of human error.
