Richmond based company becomes the official auto insurance partner of a local tradition
RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Elephant Auto Insurance is pleased to announce that they are becoming the official automotive insurance sponsor of the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k presented by MARTIN'S. This will be the first year that Elephant has partnered with the annual race.

Held on April 9th, this year's race will be the 17th installment of the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k. Started in 2000, the course is held on the historic Monument Avenue in the heart of Richmond. Known for its high-energy atmosphere, including live bands and enthusiastic spirit groups, the race has turned into one of the city's most beloved traditions.
"When you think of all the great Richmond traditions, the Ukrops' Monument Avenue 10k is one of the first ones that come to many people's minds," said Greg Minkler, Director of Marketing at Elephant.
