ELEX Introduces Clash of Kings Castle Skins

TOKYO, Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Considering its huge popularity since its launch last year, it's no wonder that Clash of Kings is still getting updated with new features and content on a regular basis. With its patch this week, Clash of Kings has its first castle skins ready for players to customize, including Japanese castle skins, Romanesque Revival castle skins, Romanesque castle skins, Gothic castle skins, Renaissance castle skins, Baroque castle skins, etc.

The game developer, ELEX, has been very diligent in maintaining a high level of quality for the title and listening to players' feedback. Moreover, ELEX wants to enhance that by introducing building skins to the game. Basically, gamers will be able to add a new castle skin to the empire they are playing. For example in the first hero skin launch, Clash of Kings has introduced Shogun Castle. Those familiar with the history of Japan knows that Shogun castles were the castles for generalissimo governors in Japan during the period from 1192 to 1867.

So instead of having Romanesque Revival Castle as your empire's castle, gamers can replace it with Shogun Castle instead. However, like we said, these are just skins so apart from a new look, nothing else has changed in the way the game is played. More skins have yet to be released and according to ELEX, they will be coming soon with the first release being Shogun Castle.

Besides Russia, the US, Germany and over 70 other countries, the game has recently dominated in Japan, steadily climbing the daily ranks. Shogun Castle skins and other customization added for Asian gamers, combined with the continuous celebrity endorsements and events being run in major cities such as Tokyo and Seoul, will boost the game's popularity in the Asian community too.
