Elite Aviation Products Appoints John Schaefer to Board of Directors
IRVINE, Calif., April 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Elite Aviation Products, an advanced design, engineering, and manufacturing company within the aerospace industry, is proud to announce the appointment of John Schaefer to its Board of Directors. Mr. Schaefer brings a wealth of leadership experience from his time spent in numerous executive management roles in the aerospace industry, supply chain management, and as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Schaefer's experience within the aerospace industry includes Director of Operations & President, Adams Rite Aerospace (a Transdigm Group company); Lieutenant Colonel and Senior Executive of Aviation Logistics, United States Marine Corps and V.P. of Supply Chain and V.P. of Manufacturing Strategy for Meggitt Sensing Systems. Over his 5 year tenure with Adams Rite Aerospace, Schaefer was responsible for a 95% increase in sales and a 102% increase in EBITDA. The tremendous growth he created while serving as president of Adams Rite Aerospace under the Transdigm Group equated to an approximate $450MM increase in shareholder value
