Ella Health Announces Promotion of Joe Shikorsky to President and Chief Executive Officer

MALVERN Pa., April 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ella Health, a woman's wellness provider, announced recently that health care veteran Joseph Shikorsky has been named President and Chief Executive Officer.

Shikorsky was most recently acting chief executive and joined the Ella Health team in March 2015, as the Chief Financial Officer. In this new role, he will lead the growth of the company, which provides 3D mammography and other diagnostic services in a spa-like setting. He will build and foster partnerships with community providers and other key stakeholders to expand Ella Health into new locations

Shikorsky has nearly 30 years of financial and accounting experience in the health-care industry and was most recently Vice President of Finance with Physiotherapy Associates, Exton, PA, a national provider of outpatient rehabilitation services. Other positions include Chief Financial Officer/VP Finance of Fresenius Vascular Care, Berwyn, PA; and VP/Controller of Critical Homecare Solutions, Conshohocken, PA.

He earned a Master of Science degree in taxation from Villanova University, Villanova, PA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.
