Elma Bustronic Vertically Merges into Elma Electronic Inc.

FREMONT, Calif., July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Elma Bustronic and Elma Electronic Inc. announced this week that the two companies will be merging as of July 1^st, 2014, operating under the name of Elma Electronic Inc. Elma Bustronic's backplane products will continue to be marketed under the Bustronic name as a product brand.

Founded in 1986, Elma Electronic Inc. is a well-respected industry innovator in the design and manufacture of electronic enclosures, systems and components. The company remains steadfastly committed to its leading role in products for PICMG and VITA open standards and rugged COTS packaging. Operations will continue as usual from the Fremont, Calif. location as Elma Electronic.
