EMC Presents Best ApplicationXtender Solution Award to Business Imaging Systems at EMC World 2012

Business Imaging Systems won this award for its implementation of ApplicationXtender at Alfa Insurance® for the processing of new life insurance policies.  BIS Professional Services employed various EMC technologies – ApplicationXtender, ApplicationXtender Reports Manager, ApplicationXtender Workflow Manager, DiskXtender® and Centera® – to reduce a multistep process into one simple interface and digital workflow.  The solution replaced manual filing and assembly procedures that were slowing down Alfa's policy approval process and costing the company valuable time and resources.  Furthermore, because documents were kept only in paper form and housed in filing cabinets, they were at serious risk for loss and misuse.  If files were lost, the entire process would have to begin again.
