MIAMI, Oct. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- eMerge Americas hosted an intimate kick-off party last night to formally launch its eagerly-anticipated second annual event, taking place in Miami, FL May 1-5, 2015. The leadership team made a series of announcements, including world-class keynote speakers and a new Women Innovation & Technology (WIT) Summit that will set the tone for what is Miami's premier tech event.

After a wildly successful first year featuring more than 6,000 attendees and 150 speakers, a series of new elements for the 2015 event were announced during last night's gathering held at the Historic Bacardi Building. eMerge Americas 2015 will play host to local start-ups and entrepreneurs, cutting-edge innovations, and the latest trends in technology. Thought leaders from key industries in the midst of transformation will convene in Miami to connect and learn about the latest technology developments driving growth and innovation in Latin America.
