SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RSA OATH Pavilion Booth #839 -- Emerging Threats, a world-leading provider of open source and commercial threat and malware intelligence, today announced IQRisk™ Rep Query, the newest module of its IQRisk Suite of malware intelligence products. IQRisk Rep Query allows users to see the long-term history and related IPs and domains as well as the core geo and ASN information about any host to help users quickly and appropriately respond to potential incidents.
IQRisk Rep Query is the second module in the IQRisk Suite of malware intelligence products. In October 2012, Emerging Threats announced its first product of the suite IQRisk Rep List, a comprehensive IP and Domain reputation list of millions of IP addresses and domains that delivers the most accurate and in-depth information to help protect mission-critical networks.
IQRisk Rep Query will consist of three levels to fit the needs of the user – Access, Premium, and Enterprise. IQRisk Rep Query is available in beta with general availability in late March 2013. Features of each level can be found on the IQRisk Rep Query Webpage.
Combining IQRisk Rep List with IQRisk Rep Query, users are empowered to create solid security policies to safeguard their networks from malicious threats by utilizing a trusted reputation list along with threat intelligence to trust and verify. IQRisk Rep List and IQRisk Rep Query can save time, money and valuable resources by obtaining decision-making data quickly and easily via the Emerging Threats Web portal. IQRisk Rep Query can be used in conjunction with other IQRisk products for a comprehensive threat intelligence solution.
Emerging Threats continues to gain momentum in the marketplace by licensing its ETPro™ Ruleset and IQRisk™ Suite of threat and malware intelligence solutions. In 2012, Emerging Threats secured major customers while exponentially increasing revenue over the previous year. The continued rise in global malicious threats, malware and malware variants has increased year over year at a staggering rate of billions of threats annually. These attacks are no longer limited to large organizations. With over 50 percent of the attacks breaching SMEs and smaller businesses, the demand for malware prevention and threat intelligence has skyrocketed.
"The more accurate information we can give to our customers, the greater they are empowered to protect their networks from malicious threats," said Matt Jonkman, CTO of Emerging Threats. "As these threats become more frequent and complex in nature, we have to develop and deliver products that enable users to trust and verify with a greater degree of certainty based on our threat intelligence solutions. IQRisk Rep Query is another layer of threat intelligence for users to gain in-depth knowledge of malicious or potentially malicious IPs and Domains such as reputation history, geo location, and other valuable information."
IQRisk Rep Query is available immediately in beta, with general availability by late March. To request beta information, pricing and ordering information, please contact Emerging Threats sales.
