Natural medicine will be the focus of the educational seminars and will equip attendees with the latest clinical research available on the healing powers of botanicals. Healthcare professionals will have the opportunity to discuss common formulations, clinical applications and quality issues associated with various botanicals.
"Botanicals affect a wide range of health issues that are very relevant to professionals," says Lise Alschuler, N.D., and vice president of quality and education at Emerson Ecologics, the largest provider of dietary supplements and services to healthcare professionals. "Allergies, cardiovascular health, aging and environmental toxins are some of the top concerns among patients; in the series we will present how botanicals can play a proactive role in addressing these concerns."
Healthcare professionals who attend the seminar series will receive botanical samples and a certificate of attendance. Refreshments will also be provided. Emerson Ecologics' 2011 seminar series will take place in the New England region and is limited to healthcare professionals. The first 50 professionals who register will receive an electronic report containing summarized clinical research of the top 20 dietary supplements. To register call 800-654-4432.
