Emirates Pathology Society Hosts the 27th Annual Meeting of the Arab Division of The International Academy of Pathology (IAP-AD)

Following a successful presentation by Dr. Mouza Al Sharhan - President, Emirates Medical Association (EMA) & President of the Emirates Pathology Society (EPS), the board of the Arab Division of The International Academy of Pathology (IAP-AD) has awarded the hosting of its 2015 annual meeting to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Under the theme "New Horizons in Pathology", the IAP-AD 27th Annual Meeting will be held jointly with the 2nd Annual Meeting of the Emirates Pathology Society (ESPC2015), between 25th and 28th November 2015, at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
According to Dr. Mouza Al Sharhan, the field and science of pathology plays a vital role in the effective diagnosis of diseases with up to 70% of clinical decisions based on laboratory test results.
The Pathology Society anticipates wide participation from pathologists throughout the region, including leaders, board members and faculty of Arab Pathology Organizations and leading international speakers. Luminaries in the field will gather to discuss the state-of-the-art practice in Anatomic Pathology through keynote talks, case discussions, workshops and interactive sessions.
"The scientific and educational program is being formulated in collaboration with the IAP-AD and with participation from a local, regional and international advisory committee whose members are world leading experts in the field of pathology. The content will be of the highest international calibre. Specific topics will include: Breast Pathology, Neuropathology, Genitourinary / Nephropathology, Female Reproductive Pathology, Pediatric Pathology, and Digital Pathology. Two pre-conference workshops, Dermatopathology and Haematopathology, complete the course offerings," Dr. Al Sharhan said.
