WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., July 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- EMS Management & Consultants (EMS|MC) and PWW Advisory Group (PWW|AG) are proud to announce the appointment of Donna York, DNP, RN, CMTE as General Manager of Air Medical Services, a newly established leadership role focused on expanding support and services tailored to the air medical transport sector.

This strategic hire underscores both organizations' continued investment in building a best-in-class air medical team—designed to meet growing market demands and the increasingly complex reimbursement and compliance landscape facing air medical providers today.

Donna York brings over 30 years of experience in air medical and critical care transport, holding roles ranging from flight nurse to program director, and has been a national leader in advancing safety, clinical excellence, and operational innovation.

She has served on the AAMS Board, led the ASTNA as President, contributed to the AMTC Planning Committee, and is a CAMTS Site Surveyor. Donna has also played a key role in the Safety Management Training Academy (SMTA) since its founding, driven by a deep commitment to safety in transport.  Her work at the intersection of clinical practice, data strategy, and EMS finance has helped providers navigate complex systems and improve outcomes. Donna holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and is passionate about mentoring future leaders and strengthening EMS infrastructure.
