Enchanted Rock Signs Mutually Exclusive Supply Agreement with Power Solutions International
HOUSTON, Jan. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Power Solutions International, Inc. ("PSI"), Professional Power Products, Inc. (3Pi), a subsidiary of PSI and Enchanted Rock, Ltd. ("ERock") have announced a long-term mutual exclusivity agreement for the supply of Microgrid Gensets for microgrid applications in North America. The supplied ERock Microgrid Gensets will:
- Use the ultra-clean 21.9L natural gas PSI Heavy Duty Engine
- Achieve ultra-quiet sound levels in a best in class footprint through ERock and PSI's innovative and patent pending packaging
- Power customer sites during electrical outages to ensure customers high reliability
- Seamlessly run parallel to the electric grid to allow participation in the electrical energy, ancillary service, capacity and demand response markets
PSI is a leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of emissions-certified, alternative-fuel power systems. ERock is the premier microgrid developer and operator in North America. 3Pi designs, manufactures, and sells custom-engineered, integrated electrical power generation systems for standby power, demand response, microgrid and cogeneration (CHP) markets.
The agreement will allow both companies to capitalize on the rapidly growing market for reliability microgrids that provide backup electricity to customers at discounted prices by participating in electricity markets.
