ENCORE PLAY And MOVIEPLEX PLAY Join STARZ PLAY On Xbox 360; PLAY Development For Xbox One On Track For 2014

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz announced that ENCORE PLAY and MOVIEPLEX PLAY, the authenticated online TV Everywhere services for ENCORE and MOVIEPLEX premium subscribers respectively, launched today on Xbox Live^® for the Xbox 360^® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and are in development for Xbox One^®. The launches follow the December 2013 debut of STARZ PLAY on Xbox 360, which marked the first Starz video game and entertainment system deployment for the popular online service and the first extension directly to the television.  STARZ PLAY, ENCORE PLAY and MOVIEPLEX PLAY are available in the United States as free downloads for Xbox Live Gold members in the Xbox Apps Store.

ENCORE PLAY and MOVIEPLEX PLAY are both included as part of the company's broader Xbox One development efforts for STARZ PLAY and are expected to launch later this year.

PLAY service device support is available on a wide array of platforms including PCs/Macs, and devices including iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and several Android handsets, tablets and other platforms including Kindle fire, Kindle Fire HD, NOOK HD, NOOK HD+ and select Google Nexus devices including the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10.
