Endurance Traveler Goes Global...Again

LONDON, May 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- While preproduction has already begun for season 2, International Distribution Company for the Endurance Traveler series, Park Entertainment, signed a contract with NGC Network International for rights to the series, which premiered in the United States last fall on Fox Sports Network.

Dean Warhaft, Host and Executive Producer says, "Endurance Traveler is a great fit for Nat Geo Adventure channel because the series is specifically designed so viewers feel they're not just on a journey, they're a part of it. The blend of sports, culture, local cuisine and global destinations brings broad appeal, which is important when a series is adopted across multiple regions."

Park Entertainment also formalized additional contracts with Fox International Channels for the rights to India where the series is currently airing on Fox History & Traveler. Additional outlets in terrestrial Europe are expected soon.

In related news, Endurance Traveler is currently re-mastering Season 1 in Spanish for Sun Channel Tourism Television. Sun Channel will air the series in 9 Central American countries this summer.
