Energy Edge Signs Partnership Agreement with Drinkable Air
BRIDGEWATER, N.J., June 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Energy Edge Technologies Corp (OTC-PINK: EEDG) has announced the execution of a Partnership Agreement with Drinkable Air that greatly expands the original Distributorship Agreement entered into this past April. The new Agreement includes an extensive profit sharing program, wide ranging exclusivity provisions, and the placement of Dr. Benjamin Chavis and Frank Campanaro of Energy Edge onto Drinkable Air's Board of Directors. There is no stock consideration attached to this Agreement.
Drinkable Air is a world leader in water generation from humidity in the air we breathe. Its patented ozone technology converts moisture from the atmosphere into an unlimited supply of pure drinking water. The company is in the final phase of testing a solar-powered machine that can have enormous impact on the water crisis that plagues many parts of Africa and the Caribbean. The new machine is planned to be unveiled at a July 4th event in Ft Lauderdale. www.drinkableair.com
Drinkable Air's new 7 person Board of Directors will bring together three of America's most dedicated and effective public servants. General Russell Honore, who is best known for providing unwavering leadership throughout the Hurricane Katrina rescue and recovery efforts, will be joined on the Board by Dr. Benjamin Chavis, a lifelong champion of civil rights and environmental causes, and Frank Campanaro, a highly successful international businessman and former US Army Ranger with 20 years of honors and awards for military service, veteran advocacy and business accomplishments. Together, their mission will be to establish a nationwide network of Veteran owned Drinkable Air distributorships, while also focusing the Partnership's resources on the worldwide thirst for sustainable pure water alternatives.
"We already have in place the most prolific lender for small veteran owned businesses in America, who has committed to back each of our approved veteran distributors with a $25,000 start-up loan," said Frank Campanaro. "These funds will go towards the purchase of their initial pallet of water machines, along with a comprehensive training program that includes lead generation and the creation of targeted marketing materials, with plenty left over for working capital and other start-up expenses. Under General Honore's incomparable leadership, we will work to make this program a rousing success for hundreds of our brothers and sisters all across America."
Dr. Chavis, newly appointed Spokesperson for Energy Edge concluded, "This is another banner day for the shareholders of EEDG. This Partnership Agreement opens up a plethora of opportunities all around the world for our Company. Not only opportunities to exponentially grow the sales and income of Energy Edge, but opportunities to make a tremendous difference in the lives of literally millions of people who are suffering through a severe shortage of drinkable water in many parts of our planet. Drinkable Air will be the one of the cornerstones of EEDG's "Africa Initiative" announced earlier today and it is gratifying to see our efforts get off to such a truly auspicious start." www.energyEEDG.com
