Energy Investment Banking Team Joins U.S. Capital Advisors

HOUSTON, July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Capital Advisors LLC ("USCA") announced today that it has hired Seth Appel and Matthew Feinberg to join the firm's growing investment banking business. Mr. Appel joins the firm as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Natural Resources Investment Banking, and Mr. Feinberg joins the firm as a Managing Director.

Prior to joining USCA, Mr. Appel was Managing Director and Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking and Mr. Feinberg was Director of Energy Investment Banking at MLV & Co. in New York.  The team's prior experience includes investment banking and equity trading at firms including Credit Suisse and Knight Capital Markets.

Mr. Appel holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Washington University and an MBA from New York University (The Stern School). Mr. Appel is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Feinberg holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
