Energy Storage North America Opens With Record Participation, Honors Leading Storage Projects and Industry Champions
Award winners represent the vision, leadership and achievements of fast-growing storage industry
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Energy Storage North America (ESNA), the largest and most influential gathering of policy, technology and market leaders in energy storage, opened this week with significantly increased participation over last year in both attendees and exhibitors. Representatives from more than 1000 organizations from 42 countries came together to conduct business, expand their networks, and learn from industry leaders.
ESNA also announced the winners of the 2015 Innovation Awards and 2015 Champion Awards.

The ESNA Innovation Awards recognize excellence in installed energy storage projects across three categories: Centralized Storage, Distributed Storage and Mobility.

The ESNA Champion Awards recognize individuals from the utility and policy sectors for demonstrated leadership in advancing the role of energy storage to achieve a cleaner, more reliable, affordable and secure electric power system.
