Vembar has a long track record of leading engineering, technology operations and innovation at successful enterprise and start up companies such as Wal-Mart, Target, UPS and KIXEYE. This experience illustrates his ability to deliver on Engage3's continuing commitment to offering an industry leading retail platform, a superior user experience amongst products such as ShoppingScout, and seamless B2B integration amongst partners.
Most recently, Vembar served as the Vice President of Technology and Operations at an online gaming company in San Francisco. He led efforts to architect, design, and implement SaaS technologies to increase reliability and scalability of the browser and mobile gaming platform.
At Target, Vembar was the Head of Multi Channel Digital Strategy driving Innovation across the company's e-commerce, social, and mobile platform solutions. He also chaired Target's Retail Technology Trend Council. Prior to Target, Vembar spent five years at Wal-Mart in the role of Sr. Director of Global E-Commerce. In this role, he was responsible for developing a scalable and cost-effective e-commerce platform that helped drive the growth of E-Commerce business from under a billion dollars to over $5 Billion.
