Engineering News-Record Receives Five Awards, Sweeping Neals

NEW YORK, March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- McGraw-Hill Construction's Engineering News-Record (ENR), and GreenSource today received six Jesse H. Neal Business Journalism Awards from American Business Media at its 57th annual awards luncheon in New York City. Called "the Pulitzer Prize of business journalism," the prestigious Neal Awards recognize editorial excellence in business-to-business publications.

• "Best News Coverage" for "Rebuilding Haiti," a detailed analysis "full of technical details that offer practical value as well as human interest stories"
• "Best Technical Content" for "Hot-Linked Jobsites," a forward-looking article that "packs practical punch"
• "Best Use of Social Media" for "Using Social Media to Build Community" on Twitter, ENR.com blogs, and elsewhere online

In addition, ENR's "Award of Excellence" piece was one of four Grand Neal finalists, selected from today's winners. ENR competed in the "more than $7,000,000 in gross advertising/circulation revenue" tier.
