Engineering Services Network to provide C4IR Technical Assistance for SPAWAR, Boosting Critical Support of Navy

ARLINGTON, Va., April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN), a leader in engineering and technology solutions, announced a recent contract win to provide C4ISR technical support for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWAR). The award was made by VT Milcom Inc. of Virginia Beach, VA.

Paul Barber, Senior VP of ESN's Maritime Division said ESN will provide technical services to support the Enterprise Pier Connectivity Architecture (EPCA) 2.0 Implementation at Naval Computer and Telecommunication Area Master Station (NCTAMS) Atlantic (LANT) in Rota, Spain, and at the Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station in (NCTS) Naples, Italy.

The work is being performed on the Sea Enterprise C4ISR Support contract, which is a Multiple Award Contract (MAC).

SPAWAR provides the hardware and software needed to execute Navy missions. According to its website, "we support the full lifecycle of product and service delivery from the initial research and development, to acquisition and deployment, to operations and logistics support."

SPAWAR is the Department of the Navy's systems command that delivers C4I, network, business IT and space capabilities.
