Enjoy A Little Piece of Paradise at Victory Living Programs' Annual "Cheeseburger in Paradise" Event

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For one night only, Victory Living Programs will once again transport guests to an island paradise-themed event complete with the best burgers in town, cocktails, music and more! The annual Cheeseburger in Paradise event will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club, 415 E. Country Club Circle, Plantation, FL.

Guests, in their best island-inspired attire, will be able to enjoy a casual dinner, featuring a burger bar with all the fixins', cocktails, and dance the night away – all on the beautiful grounds of the Fort Lauderdale Country Club. The cost to attend is $65 per person or $115 per couple. The event will also feature live and silent auctions.

Cheeseburger in Paradise is one of several fundraising events hosted each year by Victory Living Programs' Angels for Victory, a fundraising auxiliary of the organization. Founded in 2003, Angels for Victory is a dedicated group of individuals who plan and host fundraising events throughout the year to benefit Victory Living Programs.

"We get together to plan these fundraisers each year because we want to help Victory Living Programs in their mission to help individuals with disabilities lead fuller lives," said Deborah Batts, Angels for Victory member. "The funds raised from events, like Cheeseburger in Paradise, provide assistance for some of the most deserving individuals I've ever met."

Victory Living Programs has been helping individuals with developmental disabilities in Broward County live, work and play more independently for more than 40 years. The event proceeds will support Victory Living Programs' wide variety of supported living, employment and social and recreational activities and programs.
