PALM SPRINGS, Fla., April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Stanton Optical contest runs from April 1st through April 30th. Contestants are asked to share a funny photo of their dog, cat, bunny or other pet wearing a pair of glasses or sunglasses. The winner is awarded a $50 gift certificate good towards the purchase of prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses at any Stanton Optical store.

The entries are posted to the Stanton Optical Facebook page and the public is invited to vote on their favorite photo from May 1st through 15th. Once the voting is over and the votes tallied, the winner will be announced on May 17th. A $50 gift certificate is given to the contest winner to use on their next purchase of brand name eyewear at their local Stanton Optical store.

Stanton Optical Funny Pet Photo Contest Instructions

1. Take a funny photo of a pet wearing a pair of glasses or sunglasses.
2. Share the photo on the Stanton Optical contest entry page.
3. The public will pick and vote for their favorite photo among the all the submissions.
4. The photo receiving the greatest number of votes is determined the winner.
5. The winner is mailed a $50 Stanton Optical gift certificate.
6. Visit the website to view the location of all Stanton Optical stores.
7. Contest is open to residents of the United States, 18 years and older.
8. Contest is not open to Stanton Optical employees or family of employees.

Prize Eligibility
Only persons residing in United States who are at least 18 years of age can enter.
