Entercoms Appoints Gopalakrishnan V K Chief Marketing Officer
IRVING, Texas, June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Entercoms, Inc., an operations and analytics company powering aftermarket supply chains, today announced the appointment of Gopalakrishnan V K (Gopal) as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Partner Business. In this role he will continue building the Entercoms brand in the service supply chain market, and build and drive the revenue stream through global partnerships. He will oversee strategic marketing initiatives, industry association and partner alliances, and thought leadership initiatives in support of the company's strategic growth plans.

Prior to joining Entercoms, Gopal served as Vice President and Global Practice Leader for Aftermarket Services and Logistics at Genpact, a global leader in business process and technology management. Previously, he was General Manager with HCL Technologies, a global IT services provider, where he created and led the Travel, Transportation and Logistics vertical. Throughout his career, he has held critical P&L roles within the manufacturing industry, consulting,
IT and business process management sectors.

He is also the President of the Delhi Roundtable-Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and member of the National Logistics Advisory Council of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry).
Mr. Gopalakrishnan earned his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiyar University and his M.B.A. from T. A. Pai Management Institute. He is trained and certified on Lean, Six Sigma and Deming Principles.
