Entravision Communications Corporation Promotes Mario M. Carrera to Senior Vice President of Spanish-Language Television

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC) today announced that Mario M. Carrera has been promoted to the newly-created position of Senior Vice President of Spanish-Language Television, overseeing and managing all of Entravision's Spanish-language television properties. Carrera previously led Entravision's radio, television and interactive assets in Colorado as the Vice President and General Manager for 8 years.

Carrera has more than 20 years of experience as a general manager and has previously held positions in a number of top Hispanic markets such as Dallas, Texas and Fresno and Bakersfield, California.  Under his tenure in Colorado, Entravision's Noticias Univision Colorado has won 14 Emmy's, in addition to KCEC-TV winning the Best 2010 Public Service Award Campaign from the Colorado Broadcasters Association. Carrera is a graduate of Harvard University. He will continue to be based in Denver, Colorado.
