The updates – part of Envestnet's third technology release of 2026 (R3 2026) – give advisory firms more flexibility to build branded, client-ready reports in Report Studio, a more organized way for clients to review their accounts in the Client Portal, and tighter connectivity between Tamarac Trading and Tamarac CRM so advisors spend less time toggling between systems and more time serving clients.

Enhancements to Report Studio

Report Studio, Tamarac Reporting's modern report-building tool, is now available in more places across the platform, and includes a broad set of new design, data, and automation capabilities:

• Single Experience: Report Studio PDFs can now be set as default account templates, generated from the Accounts and Households pages, and scheduled through the PDF Scheduler, giving firms one consistent reporting experience.
  
  
• Custom Branded Backgrounds: Firms can apply custom images or multi-page PDFs as section backgrounds, making it easy to build branded cover pages or embed disclosures and market commentary alongside standard Report Studio modules.
  
  
• Expanded Data Points: New data across committed capital, net worth, account analytics, and tax planning – including MOIC, Vintage Year grouping, Standard Deviation, and detailed dividend and capital movement data – support more sophisticated client reporting.
• New Data Management Tab: Firms can rename data points to match their own terminology, enable, or disable specific metrics, and review data definitions, all from a centralized location.
  
  
• Risk Scatter Plot Chart: A new module plots net or gross time-weighted returns against risk, replicating the Risk vs. Return analysis from Account Analytics directly within Report Studio.
  
  
• Custom Calculated Data Points: A flexible expression builder lets firms create their own metrics – such as Potential Capital at Risk – by combining existing data points with mathematical operations.
  
  
• Billing Statements: A new Billing section type brings billing statements into Report Studio, letting firms present a Detail or Summary view of fee calculations, adjustments, and allocations, pulled directly from saved billing history.
  
  
• Additional Reporting Enhancements: Report Studio also adds an automatically generated table of contents, enhanced pie chart grouping (including an "Other" category with footnote details), and combined bar-and-line charts for comparing performance against benchmarks over time.
  
  
• PDF Themes and Chart Styling: New dedicated interfaces let firms configure fonts, colors, borders, and spacing for PDF themes, and manage chart styles and color palettes, so every report matches firm branding.
  
  
• AI-Assisted Reporting (Beta): An AI-assisted migration tool helps firms convert legacy reports into Report Studio templates, while a new AI Data Analyst Agent lets users query account data using natural language. All AI interactions are logged, and input guardrails are in place to support responsible use.

Planning Data Integrated into the Tamarac Platform

The R3 release also brings planning data directly into the Tamarac experience, making it easier for advisors to access client planning information without leaving their workflow:

•  MoneyGuide Dashboard in Tamarac: Planning data now lives where advisors already work. A new MoneyGuide dashboard surfaces client plan information directly in Tamarac, cutting clicks and giving advisors faster access to the details they need before a conversation. The client record adds a MoneyGuide Summary tab covering net worth, asset allocation, and plan summary pages, so advisors can move from a summary view into deeper analysis without leaving the workflow.
•  MoneyGuide Wealth Studios in the Client Portal: The Tamarac Client Portal now supports MoneyGuide Wealth Studios as a data source for Net Worth pages and widgets, letting firms choose whether Net Worth displays draw from standard reporting, MoneyGuide, or Wealth Studios.
•  Advanced Ownership Views: New ownership views show assets and liabilities in and out of estate and by individual owner, answering the question clients actually ask, which is not just what they have but where it sits.
• Direct Links to Wealth Studios Detail: Net Worth and Success widgets can link directly to Wealth Studios pages for clients who want the detail behind the number.

A More Organized Client Portal Experience

Tamarac's Client Portal also includes a more consistent and customized experience following the R3 rollout:

• Grouping Options for the Comparative Review Report: Clients can now organize account-level performance by account type, custodian, objective, tax status, or custom fields, with configurable default groupings and subtotals.
  
  
• Enhanced Document Vault Pagination: Documents in the Client Portal now load in shorter, paginated lists rather than one long file list, making it easier for clients with many documents to navigate.
  
  
• Custom Sign-In Messaging: Firms can now display custom text – such as support phone numbers, email addresses, or business hours – on their firm-specific sign-in screens, reinforcing branding and reducing client confusion at login.

• Performance Inception Date Visibility: CRM now displays the Performance Inception Date sourced from Tamarac Reporting, so users always know which date drives an account's performance calculations.
  
  
• Expanded Schwab Beneficiary Roles: The Schwab Beneficiaries integration with Tamarac now syncs the full range of beneficiary designations supported by Schwab Advisor Center – including Trust, Estate, and Organization roles – not just Primary and Contingent.
  
  
• Client Profile Word Template: A new standardized, editable Word export gives advisors a polished, ready-to-use client profile document for meeting prep and reviews, prefilled directly from CRM data.
  
  
• Expanded Relationship Tracking: The Marital Status field on contact and lead records now includes a Separated option, helping advisors maintain more accurate client records.
  
  
• Power Automate Flow Templates: New base and multi-business-unit flow templates help firms automate common CRM service request workflows, including Client Information Update and Incoming Deposit requests.
  
  
• Expanded Help Center Content: New and updated resources cover the Microsoft Teams phone and conversation intelligence integration, along with Microsoft Power Automate connectors available in Tamarac CRM.
