TUSTIN, Calif., April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Orange County-based premier international bridal designer and manufacturer Enzoani has created an innovative way to contribute to those who suffered the effects of the Boston Marathon tragedy: "Brides for Boston." This charitable endeavor will bring together retailers and consumers from around the globe to help create a one-of-a-kind couture-wedding gown that Enzoani will auction for charity. The designer will announce the program at Enzoani's Seventh Annual fashion show kicking off the bridal season on Monday, June 3rd. The exclusive all-day event, dubbed "Take Flight," combines a vernissage, private sale and dinner party at the Marriott Newport Beach followed by a 7:00PM fashion show at a secret location in Orange County, CA.
Enzoani Vice President of Marketing Justin Nguyen says, "Every wedding is meaningful, and every bride wants to make her day special. Through the Brides for Boston campaign, one fortunate bride will have the opportunity to add a deeper level of meaning to her own special moment."
Here's how the program works: Enzoani will ask both retailers and consumers from the worldwide community to save remnant fabric strips from their wedding gown fittings and send them to: Brides for Boston, c/o Enzoani; 1382 Valencia Ave. Suite E; Tustin, CA 92780 USA.
Enzoani's designers will then create an original gown designed to include every remnant, and will auction it, with the proceeds earmarked for a charity benefiting victims from the Boston Marathon bombings. Given the firm's flair for creating fabulous gowns, the Brides for Boston dress promises to be a stunner.
In response to the devastating event that took place in Boston, the bridal industry has sought ways to support the stricken community. Consistent with Enzoani's philanthropic mindset, Brides for Boston was born.
Nguyen adds, "The tragedy that took place at the Boston Marathon affected thousands of people both locally and internationally. Everyone in the bridal industry has expressed concerns about assisting the victims. We hope to raise significant funds to contribute to the rebuilding of a great city and assist those who were traumatized by the attack."
Enzoani plans to make incremental donations from some sales going forward to charities as part of the Brides for Boston program.
