ePrize Honored with 2011 Communicator Award for Creative Excellence
Carhartt campaign serves as subject of award-winning entry
PLEASANT RIDGE, Mich., June 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ePrize, a leading provider of interactive promotions, has been honored by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA) with a 2011 Communicator Award, recognizing the company's creative excellence in the Interactive category.
In its 17th year, the awards receive more than 9,000 entries annually in six categories – audio, integrated campaigns, interactive, marketing effectiveness, print and video. As a recipient in the interactive discipline, ePrize received an Award of Excellence, the awards' highest level of distinction.
ePrize's recent campaign on behalf of workwear manufacturer Carhartt was the focus of the entry, which leveraged tiered incentives to showcase Carhartt product lines to workers.
"The authenticity of using real workwear consumers in the creative was a strategic and effective way to resonate with their target audience in the interactive space," said Matt Wise, ePrize CEO. "Utilizing threshold prizing encouraged consumers to spread the word to unlock the next prize tier; making this a truly viral campaign."
The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by IAVA, an organization with more than 550 members who represent various disciplines of the visual arts and are dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
