Epson B-510DN Business Color Ink Jet Printer Receives 'Outstanding Achievement in Value' Award From Buyers Lab

LONG BEACH, Calif., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Epson B-510DN business color ink jet printer has been awarded the Summer 2010 Buyers Lab (BLI) "Outstanding Achievement Award in Value," due to its low cost per page. The B-510DN is designed for workgroups and small to medium size businesses, providing high-volume color network printing with exceptional performance, reliability and productivity. After subjecting the Epson B-510DN to its extensive in-house testing, BLI found this printer to offer the lowest cost per page of any desktop inkjet printer tested to date.

The Epson B-510DN delivers high operational cost savings with ink costs as low as 4 cents per color page(1), when using the highest capacity ink cartridges available for the printer (based on cartridge MSRP divided by ISO page yield). The B-510DN offers high-volume, uninterrupted color printing, with a high-capacity, front-loading paper tray that can accommodate up to 500 letter or legal size sheets, as well as a built-in duplexer for double-sided printing. It also provides high print productivity with speed of 19 black/18 color ISO ppm(2) and a monthly duty cycle of 20,000 pages (4,000 pages recommended)(3). BLI reported in their two-month lab evaluation of the printer that it gave a very good overall performance, completing a 10,000 impression durability test without a single misfeed and no service required.

Cartridge yields are based on continuous printing of a suite of five black and color pages as required by ISO/IEC 24712.
